Cole Brother's Circus
Committee meeting: Tuesday June 22, 2010, 6:30pm, Borders Books, Christiana.

The Cole Brother's Circus is coming to town August 20 to 22. It is the Wilmington Jaycees' biggest fundraiser of the year! The circus donates a portion of the ticket sales to our Jaycees chapter in exchange for advertising the circus and helping to park cars during their time here. Support of the chapter members is strongly encouraged, not to mention, a ton of fun! Bring friends and family and support the Cole Brother's Circus as well as the Wilmington Jaycees.
Chairperson Abbie Uhler needs a committee to help spread the word around the community. Other help needed includes picking up parking cones and other items needed for the parking of the cars, help setting up the parking on the first day of the circus, and collecting items for our tailgate section. Please contact Abbie Uhler at a_uhler@hotmail.com if you plan to attend the meeting or would like to be on the planning committee.
Project Chairs and
 Committee Members Needed
Are you ready to take a more active role in the chapter?  Do you want to improve your project management skills?  Then we have the answer for you!
How about taking on a role as project chairperson for one of our upcoming events?  We have many events coming up that we need volunteers to step up and become more involved!  Some of the events are as simple as providing information to the membership, while others might involve help from a committee.  No matter what the event, you're never alone in planning it!
Or, perhaps are you interested in a specific area of the Jaycees?  Maybe it's becoming more involved in the community, or helping plan individual development projects, or planning social events?  If so, we have the committee for you! Join the Community Development committee, Individual Development committee, or Membership Development committee and get yourself involved!
Please contact Janet Dougherty at ladyluckjan@yahoo.com if you would like more information.
